My work is a celebration of imperfection.

 

As a painter, I'm interested in capturing stories. I paint portraits, using bright colors and abstract textures to showcase our imperfect sovereignty: how our unique views, memories, and perspectives shape the worlds we create for ourselves.

 

As a speaker, I empower groups to create again. By exploring the importance of fostering cultures that value creative collaboration, I hope to inspire others to move beyond the pursuit of finding the 'right answer' and instead embrace the fun, messiness, and authenticity of engaging in a creative practice.

 

As a community builder, I co-founded Dear Imperfect Artist, an online collective of artists rediscovering our creative voice, sharing our unique knowledge, and cultivating sustainable artistic practices.​
